Self-Portrait

Inspired by Giuseppe Arcimboldo's paintings, I harvested plant material from my garden to create a self-portrait that will remain untouched throughout the ArtPrize competition. After its installation, the work's trajectory is unknown. How quickly will it decay? Will the portrait wither in ways that mirror the changes happening in my own aging body?
